About us
Red Giant Software was founded in 2002 by industry veterans to develop and distribute special fx tools for digital video & film professionals. We are both a publisher of other people's technology and a developer of our own products. Products are available as plug-ins for popular video editing and effects applications, including Adobe After Effects®, Adobe Photoshop®, Adobe Premiere Pro®, Avid®, Sony Vegas® and Apple Final Cut Pro®/Motion®. The products are based on production-proven technology developed by visual effects industry veterans such as John Knoll, Photoshop creator & Visual Effects Supervisor at Industrial Light + Magic (Knoll Light Factory); and Stu Maschwitz, CTO and Co-Founder at The Orphanage (Magic Bullet) and are designed to increase your production value. They have been used in 1000's of feature films, music videos, national TV commercials & shows. What is a Red Giant?
When a star enters its Red Giant phase it becomes massive and 10,000 times brighter. The Red Giant has a small and concentrated core. The giant star slowly expands, encompassing bodies close to it.

Return Policy
20% re-stocking fee on all non-defective returns. No credit or refund after 14 days of receiving goods. No credit or refund will be given if software has been opened. All returned goods must have an RMA number, copy of Invoice, and problem stated. All returned goods must be returned in original package with manuals.

Your privacy is important to us. Our customer records are not for sale or trade, and we will not disclose our customer data to any third party except as may be required by law. Any information that you provide to us in the course of purchasing online or interacting with our sales or technical support departments is held in strict confidence. This includes your contact information (including, but not limited to your email address and phone number), as well as any data that you supply to us in the course of a technical support interaction. We encourage all of our customers to register via our Web site. By registering, you allow us to contact you about new versions, software updates/upgrades and special offers from time to time. We maintain an e-mail newsletter list to keep interested parties informed about our company, events, products, support, and more. We do not sell the addresses on our list, and will never make the information available to outside parties. Users may voluntarily request to join our mailing lists by signing up on our web site or by leaving the Newsletter box checked when downloading a Demo version of our software.
