Orders are shipped to continental U.S. via UPS Ground or UPS 2nd Day Air. Orders under $4.00 or Gift Certificate orders are shipped via USPS First Class Mail.

NOTE: Gift Certificate and Decal orders will be sent via US Postal Service First Class Mail when they are the sole items in the order.

Orders are shipped to foreign countries using US Postal Service delivery.

Orders shipped outside of NY State will not be charged sales tax.

Orders shipped within NY State will be charged 8.00% sales tax on applicable items.

Foreign orders: There is a minimum $10.00 additional fee. Because of large differences in rates for foreign delivery, we will notify you for approval if there are additional shipping charges for foreign orders.

FORMS OF PAYMENT

We welcome on-line, mail, fax or telephone orders.

Payment can be made by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Check or Money Order.

All orders require the name, address and telephone number of the person placing the order.

If the order is being shipped to a different address we will also need this information.

Credit card transactions will require the card number and expiration date.

It is our policy to treat our customers' information confidentially. It will not be released to other parties.

LOCATION

The bookstore is located on the lower level of the Rensselaer Union, which is on the corner of 15th Street and Sage Avenue in Troy, New York.

Monday - Friday: 8:30am - 5:00pm
Saturdays (while classes are in session): Noon - 4pm

Closed Saturdays when classes are not in session and during the summer months.

Extended hours at the beginning of each semester and during special events on campus.

REFUND POLICY

If you are unhappy with your purchase of any clothing or gift item from the on-line catalogue please return it. We ask that you do so within two weeks of receiving the item, and we will gladly exchange the item or issue you a refund.

Textbooks:

Refunds on required textbooks for Spring and Fall semester are given during the first two weeks of the semester for which the books are sold (one week for summer sessions). Books must be unmarked and accompanied by the sales receipt. Books that are shrink-wrapped at time of purchase are not returnable if the shrink-wrap has been removed. Seal on disks or CD-ROMs included in texts must not be broken. No refunds are given on textbooks purchased after this period.

Non-Required Books:

May be returned within 2 days of purchase, when unmarked and accompanied by receipt.

Electronic Products:

No refunds are made on electronic products. Defective products can be returned within 30 days of purchase for replacement or service, based on the manufacturer's policies. Returns must be accompanied by receipt.

General Merchandise:

(All merchandise except books and electronic products) Refunds will be made within 14 days of purchase when merchandise is returned as purchased and accompanied by receipt.

Special Orders and Clearance Items

These items are sold on a non-returnable basis.
