- Do you have a store in my area?
Sorry, we do not have a storefront and only serve our customers through our online store. Items cannot be picked up from our location because most of our items ship from various locations throughout the country. We are happy to arrange for delivery anywhere in the lower 48 states.
- Is it safe to use my credit card on your website?
SensoryEdge is hosted by Yahoo and our shopping cart has 128 SSL encryption to secure your credit card information against theft. We also employ Hacker Safe to scan our website daily to make sure it continues to pass the FBI/SANS Internet Security Test.
- Can I order on the phone?
We want our customers to be comfortable with their shopping experience. If you do not like shopping online you can call us to place your order. We are available via telephone at 1 800 734 8019 Monday - Friday from 8am - 5pm PST. If you reach our voice mail then all operators are busy helping other customers. Please leave a message. We will return the call.
- How much is shipping?
Shipping charges are calculated in the shopping cart upon checkout. The charges are based on the weight of the product and the shipping zip code. You may put items in the shopping cart and fill out the shipping information to get a shipping quote. The shipping will be provided before a credit card is asked for so you can always use the back button once you have the information. You may also call us for a shipping quote. We will be more than happy to assist you.
- How long will it take to receive my order?
Each item on our website provides an estimated delivery at the bottom of the item page. Most items ship within a few days and take about 5 - 9 business days for delivery. Some items are made to order and take 3 - 4 weeks for delivery. Please check the item page for the delivery time of each product.
- Something arrived damaged can I get a replacement?
When items are shipped there can occasionally be damage to part of the item. If you product arrives damaged please give us a call and we will get you the part you need to fix the problem for you.
- Do you ship to Canada, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, APO's or FPO's?
Sorry, we only ship to the 48 contiguous U.S.
- Do you have a catalog?
We do not have a print catalog at this time. Customers who need pictures to show purchasing committees have successfully used printed copies of Web Pages from the internet. If you need additional pictures emailed we will be happy to help you
- What do you do with my contact information?
We will never sell or provide your information to any source unless related to the processing of your order. When you place an order in our system, we will email you a confirmation and upon your products shipping, we will email you tracking information. Many of our products are shipped factory direct; in these cases we provide your contact information to the vendor in order to allow them to ship your product(s)

The majority of the products we sell are shipped Factory Direct via UPS or FedEx ground. At times, orders are shipped via a trucking service or USPS.
Shipping Charges
- Shipping charges are calculated according to the total weight of your purchase. You can save on shipping by purchasing more items at one time.
- Some products have Free Shipping or Shipping Included offers. These offers will be marked in the title of the item. These offers only apply for ground shipping within the 48 contiguous U.S. states.
- We are happy to provide you with a shipping quote via telephone or email.
- Please be aware that shipping rates have increased dramtically. The actual cost of shipping is often much more than we charge. Please make sure that you give us the correct address information for accurate delivery of your order.
- If you are shipping a gift, please inform the recipient that a package has been sent so that the delivery will not be refused. If a package is returned to us, we will bill the purchaser for all related shipping charges.
- If you purchase multiple items they might arrive in multiple boxes and on different days.
Express Services - We understand that you might want your order shipped using a method other than ground delivery. Most of the time we will not offer express shipping because most of our items are shipped factory direct and we cannot control the product. If the items are located in our warehouse we might be able to help you with express shipping. Our warhouse stocks Melissa & Doug, Learning Resources and other small toys. If this is the case, please email us your request prior to placing the order and we will contact you with a shipping quote and ordering instructions. It is important to note that express shipping methods such as overnight or 2 Day Air can be as much as 4x or more than the ground shipping rates.
In some instances, the weight of the product(s) may exceed our shopping cart calculators ability to provide you an acuurate shipping quote. If the initial shipping calculations are over our stores shipping threshold and need to be adjusted, SensoryEdge will contact you with a shipping quote for your approval.

Delivery Time- Estimated shipping times are listed on each item page at the end of the product description.
Delivery time will usually be:
- 4 to 7 business days if shipped from our warehouse
- 5 to 9 if shipped factory direct on already boxed items
- 2 to 3 weeks for classroom rugs and FSC Slumber Bags
- 3 - 4 Weeks on soft play by Childrens Factory and Birch Furniture by Jonti Craft
These dates are subject to change due to circumstances beyond our control. This includes out of stock items that we were not made aware of by the manufacturer, lost shipments by UPS, FedEx, or the USPS.
- Orders submitted with the wrong billing information will need verification and therefore will be delayed and the above shipping policies will not apply. We ask that you please enter your billing address & phone # exactly as stated on your credit card statement so that your order may be processed efficiently.

Return Policy
SensoryEdge wants you to be satisfied with your purchase. Prior to making a purchase, please be sure to ask any questions you might have about your order. We want you to be informed about the item(s) you are purchasing.
In the event that you are unhappy with your purchase, we accept returns in their original condition and packaging within 30 days of receipt. We will refund the purchase price but we cannot refund original shipping charges. If the item had free shipping or shipping included with the purchase price, the actual cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund. You must e-mail us at help@sensoryedge.com to receive authorization. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted. You are also responsible for return shipping costs.
For items damaged during shipping, contact us immediately for further instructions. To process the exchange or a return on damaged items you MUST keep the original box and all packaging. SensoryEdge will assume the return shipping charges for defective products. As with all returns please e-mail us at help @sensoryedge.com receive authorization or simply refuse the shipment if the damage is evident at time of delivery.
Refusal of Delivery: If an order is refused for a reason other than damage, the customer will be responsible for all shipping costs, including the shipping costs back to the warehouse, and any other costs that occur during the delivery and return process. If the order qualified for free shipping, the customer will be responsible for all actual costs associated with shipping and returning the respective shipment.
Terms of sale: We make every attempt to present accurate information on our site and we correct any errors as we identify them. However, due to changes in descriptions, images, availability, and prices - some products are subject to correction or change without notice. You may verify product information by contacting Customer Service at 1-800-734-8019. A binding contract for the sale of the goods concerned does not exist until they are physically shipped and the customer's credit card is debited. If an honest mistake is made on the part of the seller we will contact you and you would not be responsible for keeping the sale in place.
Backordered Items: SensoryEdge makes every reasonable effort to post accurate information about the availability of each item and when backordered items will become available. However, the information on the site is only as current as the most recent report provided by the manufacturers and occasionally there is a lag between posted and actual status. We will make every effort to keep you informed if a backorder is further delayed.
