HTML for the Caption Field
Use HTML to liven up your item and section pages. Even
simple tags like <i>italic</i> or <b>bold</b> add interest
and catch a shopper's attention. Complex tags like <TABLE>
can help you control layout in the caption area of your pages.
Warning: Because of the way Store templates are coded
you must remember not to leave blank lines between text
and HTML. Insert all lines one after another with no breaks
or Store's page-building function will not work properly.
If you use <TABLE>, <TR>, and <TD> tags, don't forget the
closing tags: </TABLE>, </TR>, and </TD>. Some older
browsers will not display your page if you forget to close
all these tags!
Reminder: The caption field supports limited HTML only.
Do not include a full page of HTML in this field. Tags
such as <HTML>, <HEAD>, <TITLE>, and <BODY> can break
certain elements of your store. Metatags should
not be included in the caption -- use the "Keywords"
field in Variables for metatags.

E-Commerce Set for Strong 2002 Holidays

already planning for the holidays. The good news, according to separate reports from Nielsen/NetRatings and Forrester Research cited in E-Commerce Times,
is that e-commerce will continue to grow.
Forrester predicts a steady 25% rate, "as online shoppers
search for bargains in a languishing economy." The report
