Needing a slightly larger chamber and entrance hole than their eastern counterpart, our Western Bluebird House is ideal for the vivid Western Bluebird. Mount the Western Bluebird House so the entrance hole is approximately five feet above the ground. If possible, face the house away from prevailing winds and facing towards a tree or shrub which is within 100 feet of the house. Trees and shrubs provide a landing spot for the young bluebirds when they first leave the house. This will keep them off the ground, away from predators. Western Bluebird Houses should be spaced at least 300 yards apart. This Western Bluebird House has been approved by the North American Bluebird Society.

Dimensions: 12-1/2"high x 6-3/4"wide x 9"deep
