Advanced Arrow Wood Finish = what it does. That piece of elm in the upper left has been finished once, traveled around the country, handled by loads of people, and even dropped from time to time over the years, yet there is no checking, cracking, finish yellowing, white lines, etc: not even under the sign! Not just for sealing, but more than that: If only I could demonstrate it for you right now where you are and give you the results! One gun demonstration is to take a nicely finished sample stock and shave a piece of wood out right through the finish. In the length of time it takes you to read this article, I demonstrate how to use the Arrow Wood finish to fill, seal the gouge and provide a nice satin, dry to the touch finish to let you feel and touch the completed work on the instant. Together with the description, this makes it a gun show best seller. Naturally it is for all fine wood, not just for wood gun stocks, grips, knife handle bone, etc.

Arrow Wood Finish: This Oil-based, flexible, yet durable wood finish is designed for many things, doing everything you could ask for all at once. It won't stain the wood. It will make the wood the same color as it would be wet with rubbing alcohol. This is quite an invention for the master finishing touch. Applications it is used on today include all of the following: gun stocks; grandfather clocks; Wood Musical Instruments like violins, Floors (once and successfully for impact resistance), wall clocks, Antique Furniture, Automotive wood interiors.

It is a professional finish that works on exotic and normal wood, bone, beaughtiful wood, and everything in between.

Useful for repair and original, for Firearm Wood, Violin Wood, Arts and Crafts, Restoration of Grandfather clocks, and more. No finishing job is complete without it. It was used to finish a barn hardwood floor for dancing, but on first try throw rugs couldn't be used on the floor for snow becuase they slipped with ease on the floor. The floor was solid, not tacky. Its usefulness in wood instruments is the finish is both unchanging and dynamic - it doesn't crack over time and allow the wood surface to dry out - or to seal it too tightly and have it rot. If the finish fails, over 5 years or so the tonal quality will go from the rich deep tones of fine pure wood to the "tin" tones of a "fiddle"

The finish bonds well with most finishes - including Varnish, Urethane, and Polymers, (in addition to other oil-based finishes)! (This is extremely unusual.)

Its sunlight resistance is second to none with regards to oil finishes, and something that would yellow less but is used will look horrible long ago from cracking, chipping, white scratching, etc. from use. Also it remains flexible so it expands and shrinks with the wood, but stays uniform and consistent itself due to the its internal properties. Color change to the wood will be the same as getting it wet with isopropyl alcohol - except that color remains unabated. For soft woods like pine you want to remain light color - seal them first. For hard light wood, like maple, color remains virtually unchanged to the human eye.

The degree of Finish you get depends on what you hand-rub the final applications with: 240 - 1200 Grit "Wet or Dry" sandpaper, your hand, or a piece of paper. 240 grit gives dull or military (maximum), 600 gives satin (maximum shine) higher grits properly prepared give brilliant see-yourself shines, yet feel smooth too.

When this is demonstrated at gun, sporting, and arts shows, we take a piece of walnut finished wood, gouge it with a knife through the existing finish, taking some of the wood out too, then instantly repair the finish, hand the piece back to you, and ask you to feel and see the results, and spot the repair! (This demonstrates some of the qualities of the Wood Finish, it looks and feels so good.)

We show to finish rough, textured, or engraved wood to a durable result, you just use a toothbrush.

This finish is so efficient 16 ounces can cover as much wood with finish as 1 entire gallon of expensive polyurethane!

Guys,

I saw this stuff at a gun show booth this weekend and it was amazing. The guy took a stock and cut a gouge in the finish and stock, then he put a small drop of this stuff on the gouge and started sanding with 320 w-n-d paper and in less than a minute the gouge was gone and the finish matched the satin finish. I wish I had used it for my last project would have saved me an enormous amount of time and headaches and been cheaper. I don't sell this stuff, I just thought I'd pass it on, I bought a 4 oz bottle for $8.95 and he said it would do between 5 to 10 stocks.

I used pro-custom on my swede sporter but when I get a spare hour I'm going to topcoat it with this stuff. If you use 320 you get a dull satin finish, 400-600 you get nice satin finish, and 800-100 for a glossy finish, 1200 on up you get a bowling ball mirror finish.

Since I demonstrated on both walnut and oak endgrain to demonstrate on the white oak that In 30 seconds I could get it to completely, seal, fill, bond, dry, and make shiny all at once, this turned heads also!!
