Note: Shipments of Treatment-oil are and perhaps permamently suspended awaiting the entry and change of Moly-Fusion™ Extreme VS Moly-Fusion-for-gun-kits since it will be a liquid and not need to turn back into a liquid
If it is re-continued after the extreme it may be from the extreme instead of the other. Pictured: The 4 sizes that were sold: 1 oz (30mL), 2 oz, 4 oz, and 32 oz. Bill, INDIANA, Feb 04, 2004:
The latest product [MolyFusion™ Treatment-Oil] sent was the best to date, it has a low pour point, works fast and can be left on the part , this a big advantage for applications that cannot be flushed clean & re-lubed.
An old friend gave me a high school machine shop project dated 1957, it was slightly corroded and generally gummed up, it was restored using only molyfusion treatment oil applied with a "q" tip & plastic tuffy, this retained the original machine marks while not removing any metal.
This part was a model of a rack & pinion, the gears were rotated & selectivly matched till no binds were encountered.
The finish was better than new & the rack when tilted 45 degrees fell to the stop by its own weight
Treatment Oil contains 12.5% by volume Moly-Fusion: the 100% version.
Its price is based only on the end-user license agreement amount for the Moly-Fusion™
The 1, 2, and 4 ounce size versions are in the kits.
The bulk of the product is non-toxic Mineral Oil, with solvency added for better cold-mixing properties.
It requires a little bit of shaking before every use. (There is some "stratification" due to there being so much Moly-Fusion in it - it's a concentrate all by itself.)
