Welcome to the Softpro Books web site. This site is an extension of our retail store in Centennial, Colorado and reflects the more than 5,000 titles we stock in our store.
We add newly arrived titles daily. You can see them on our New Arrivals page or get them delivered directly to your desktop with an RSS Feed.

The price and availability of computer books change on a daily basis. We update these listings almost daily,
but there will always be more changes. If there is a price change on a book you've ordered, we'll contact you for confirmation before processing the order.

SECURE ORDERING
All online transactions at the Softpro Books web site are handled with industry-standard SSL encryption.
When you enter your credit card number into the order form, it is transmitted across the Internet in an encrypted (scrambled) form, then decoded when it gets to us.

If you don't find a book on the web site, please send email or give us a call.
If we don't stock it, we'll be glad to try and special order it for you.
PAYMENT INFORMATION
Softpro accepts all major credit cards for web, phone, and in-store purchases. (American Express, Diner's Club, Discover, Mastercard, Optima, and Visa), as well as purchase orders from established corporate accounts.
SHIPPING
We ship in-stock orders placed before 12:30pm MST/MDT the day we receive them. Please note that this applies to UPS shipments to US addresses, and only to business days, when UPS is operating. If we are shipping your order via US Priority Mail or Media Mail (Economy Method), we will do our best to ship the order the same day, but on occasion your order may not go out until the next morning.
If you order a book that is not in stock, we'll do our best to provide you with an estimate of the time it takes
to get the book to you.
For destinations within the continental United States:
Pick up at our Centennial store -- No charge. Please wait until you receive our email confirmation that your order has been processed and is ready for pick up before coming in.
Economy -- Cost is $3.50 for the first book. Orders of 2 or more books ship free. This free shipping offer does not apply to items that are noted as being out of stock at the publisher. We will generally use US MEDIA MAIL. Transit time is usually 4 to 6 days, but may be longer depending upon your distance from Colorado and whether or not the Postal Service is experiencing particularly large volumes of mail.
Standard -- UPS Ground or US Priority Mail. Cost is $5.50 for the first book and $0.75 for each additional book. We will select the method that we think will be quicker and/or more reliable for you. Should you prefer one over the other, please let us know in the comment field of the order form. We will do our best to accommodate you. You can go to UPS Map and type in "80112" to get an idea of the transit time to your destination. Times do not include weekends and holidays. US PRIORITY MAIL usually takes 2 to 3 days (Saturdays included). These same rates apply to US Priority Mail service to APO addresses.
Rush Shipments are available within the continental U.S.:
UPS Second Day Air is $17 for the first item plus $3 for each additional item. Delivery is guaranteed by the end of the second business day.
UPS Next Day Air (delivery by 10:30 a.m., noon, or end of day the next business day
depending on destination) is $32 for the first item plus $5 for each additional item.
UPS Next Day Air Saver (delivery by 3:00 p.m. or 4:30 p.m. to commercial
destinations within the 48 contiguous states where UPS Next Day Air delivery is committed by
10:30 a.m. or noon, respectively; residential deliveries to UPS Next Day Air Saver destinations receive delivery
by end of day) is $27.50 for the first item plus $5 for each additional item.
For Canadian addresses, we use US Global Priority mail. The shipping charges will not appear on your initial order; we will promptly reply to you once we have computed the charges, and you will then have the opportunity to accept or reject them.
Please see UPS's terms and conditions. Note that
we cannot guarantee delivery within the specified time frame if UPS suffers an interruption of service. The UPS web site
specifies the conditions under which a refund can be provided should a delivery not be made on time.
Please note that these rates apply to virtually all our books, but there are some very heavy titles and boxed
sets that will require a surcharge. We will confirm any surcharges with you prior to shipping. Also, there are
areas to which UPS does not offer Next Day Air Saver Service. We will contact you as soon as possible to arrange
alternate service if this applies to your address.
Effective 11 March 2002, we are no longer accepting international orders (with the exception of Canada) because of the cost and reliability of shipping.
RETURN POLICY
If the book you receive isn't what you'd hoped for, you may return it for a refund or store credit provided you ship your return within 14 days of your receiving your order, in
new condition with any enclosed CDs, diskettes, or software unopened. If you need to return your purchase,
please contact Softpro via phone or email. Reference the purchase date, and invoice/packing slip number. Please note that shipping and handling costs are not refundable and that this policy applies only to purchases made via our web site. We offer a 7 day return window for purchases made in our store.
