March 22, 2006 4:30PM ET Letter to Customers
Dear Take2Store Customer,
We apologize for the delay in responding to your inquiries at the Take2Store. The staff at the store has been working around the clock to get all orders of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion shipped on time. The majority of pre-orders were shipped as scheduled on Monday, March 20, 2006.
However, we’ve heard and read that some have not yet received their orders or updated information regarding their orders. For those fans we apologize and hopefully the following three scenarios address your questions:
(1) The UPS tracking number isn’t working or UPS is saying it hasn’t shipped: For a small portion of the pre-orders UPS was not able to capture tracking information. If your credit card has been charged, these orders are en route and should arrive in the next few days. We’re trying to rectify this with UPS and hopefully it will be updated in the next day or so, though probably after you receive your order.
(2) Your credit card has been charged and you checked the Take2Store orders status and the site says your order is “ON HOLD”: Your order has shipped and should arrive at your doorstep in the next few days. We’re trying to correct a problem with the Order Statuses function on the Take2Store and should be updated by end of the day today (Wednesday, March 22).
(3) You checked the Take2Store and your order is “ON HOLD” and your credit card has not been charged: The most common reason is we need additional information to verify your billing or credit card information. Please check your email and spam folders for a message from the Take2Store. These orders are “ON HOLD” and can’t ship until we get additional information from you.
We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding. We are truly touched by the overwhelming support you fans have shown for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. The Take2Store staff will continue working tirelessly to get the game in your hands.
Sincerely,
Take2Store
