Waterproof Clear Window Clings

Here's a great idea submitted by Harriet Meltzer of Maryland for making your window clings waterproof so you can place them on the outside of your window. And no spraying needed!

All you need is a window cling sheet and a sheet of inkjet transparency paper. Print your design on the rougher side of the transparency sheet. Make sure you set your printer for transparency to get the most brilliant and colorful output.

Once the design is dry, cut it out. Now cut a piece of the cling sheet a little larger than your transparency design. Peel the backing off the cling sheet and lay it on the table in front of you - sticky side up. Place your transparency design, with the printed side down, on the cling sheet and press to make sure it adheres well. Now trim the cling sheet around your design, leaving a small margin of at least 1/4". This is the part that will stick to the window.

That's all there is to it!
