We normally stock the 15" and 16" Mahogany with polished aluminum stirrups and Montana Silversmiths silver plated "Berry" Conchos. Other options are available and may ship directly from Crates.

Crates Light Ladies Trail Saddle 2172

Brand new from Crates, this super Light Ladies trail saddle weighs only 27 pounds and is made on their exclusive Equi-Fit tree of fiberglass-covered wood, designed for the serious trail and endurance rider who does NOT want a flexible tree. In addition to its multi-layered soft double padded seat and 4" cantle, Crates designed this tree with a full extra inch in thigh room in the seat jockey area for added comfort.


Other special features include the hand-tooled border beade and cam design, rawhide tipped horn cap and full rigging wear leather, and stainless steel hardware. The shaped fender is designed for a wide range of length adjustment and the 2" shaped stirrup leathers reduce ankle strain. The polished aluminum endurance stirrups have a shock absorbing rubber foot pad.
