The Foundry Tinder 5.1 for Discreet Systems (floating) Upgrade

Tinder is a collection of over 90 plug-ins that extend the creative possibilities of flame, flint, fire, inferno, smoke and burn. The newly released Tinder 5 now supports both Irix and Linux, and features 11 new plug-ins. The sparks take advantage of additional processors and have been designed to work at video or film resolution and multiple colour depths. The plug-ins are grouped into tools, effects, blurs, warpers and generators.

Cartoon, this new effect does what it says on the tin. It takes crisp digital originals and turns them into cartoonstyle images.
CompareMotion is a useful tool that compares the motion in two clips whilst allowing you to view both clipsalongside each other on screen.
Fire, this new plug-in allows you to render fire. Create everything from a single candle flame to an inferno;what’s more, it is highly animateable with controls to allow you to change colour, size, wind direction and speed.
Fractal generates animating organic patterns that are useful for backgrounds or breaking up mattes.
MuzzleFlash features a whole range of different weapon types to add realistic muzzle flashes to images during post production.
CrashZoom, a new super speedy blur that smears pixels in all directions from a central point.
Spin Blur, a new very fast blur that smears pixels in a circular motion from a central point on the image.
Shaft not only allows you to render light rays; you can also break up rays, rotate their direction and change their colour.
Rain is a great new effect that simulates 2D rain. Silk, the new digital wrinkle cream! Silk gives an image an airbrush effect whilst cleverly keeping the edgessharp.
Sonic analyses an audio file and creates animation channels in a range of frequencies from bass to treble, thesecan then be applied to other sparks to animate parameters.
