We've just released the following new Order Manager features to help you manage your orders and improve customer service.

A customer calls with a question about their order, but doesn't remember their order-id. How do you find their order? Easy - use the new "Order Lookup" feature on the Orders page.
You can search by customer's name, phone number, email address, street address,
city name, zip code, last four digits of the credit card number, or order date.

Modify an existing order using the "Modify" button on a single order page. Change the customer's address or modify the items, and select "Done" to save your changes.
(If you post or fax your orders, you can use the "Resend" link on the side of the page to resend the modified order when you're done.)

"On Hold" status allows you to put an order aside to deal with later. It's a good way to keep track of orders where you need to take some action - like contacting the customer about an out-of-stock item, or a problem with their credit card.
To mark an order On Hold just select the on "On Hold" button in the Mark Order section (on top of the right side toolbar on the order page), and then select Update. You can view all the orders marked "On Hold" by selecting the link on top of the main Orders page.
Once you've taken care of the order, you can mark it OK if you are going to fulfill it, or Bogus if you're not.
