Each tree house is shipped in 2 big pieces: the clubhouse and the log. We recommend installing the tree house on a 7’x7’x4” rebar-enforced concrete slab; the slab provides stability and protection from rot. Installation of the tree house can be handled by any handyman (that can drive a forklift) in about 2-4 hours. Prior to shipment, we will send a short instructional video that details proper handling techniques and “small tricks of the trade". If you live in California, parts of Nevada and parts of Arizona, delivery and installation services are available for $500. This includes delivery and 2 hours installation time. Time beyond the first 2 hours will be billed at the rate of $60.00 per hour. Heavy equipment (a forklift or crane) must be supplied by the customer. We can ship all over the United States. Shipping costs will vary. They can be as low as $0.40 per mile, but will not exceed $0.75 per mile (mileage is calculated from California to wherever the delivery takes place). The weight of the tree house varies from 2,500 pounds up to 7,000 pounds- depending on factors such as log size, type of wood and wetness of wood. A standard base-model tree house requires about 12.5' of space on a flatbed trailer. Delivery charge will be added to your order separately. Tree houses are custom made and cannot be returned. Orders may only be cancelled within 48 hours of order. |
