Shipping, Returns, Availability, & Special Orders
We want you to be absolutely delighted with your purchase.
We recognize that it is not always easy to purchase something
that you have not had the opportunity to see in person.
Therefore, we have created this guarantee of quality to
help you feel more comfortable purchasing from us.
Your Order
Orders of in-stock merchandise ship from our warehouse in New York City warehouse and generally arrive at US locations within five to seven business days from receipt of your order depending on the distance from our warehouse.
We will notify you by email of any anticipated delays. You may email us questions about your order at any time. Send your email to orders@limoges.com.
Our customer service representatives are available Monday - Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Eastern Standard Time and respond to email during those hours. They can also be reached by phone at (800) 850 - 4631.
Shipping - All orders $150 or over will be shipped via UPS Ground for free. If the order is less than $150, shipping via UPS Ground will be $6.95. If you need your shipment more quickly, we offer shipping by UPS 2nd Day Air for a
charge of $20.00 per order. We also offer shipping by UPS
Next Day Air for $30.00 per order. We ship all over the
world (but please note that at this time on-line orders
must be shipped within the United States). If your order is going to either Alaska or Hawaii, it must be shipped via UPS 2nd Day Air of Next Day Air.
Shipping Times - If your order is placed before 11 AM Eastern Standard Time on
any day that we are open and you only ordered items in stock, your order will
be shipped that day. If the order is placed after 11 AM the order will be shipped
the following business day. This means any order placed after 11 AM on Friday
will not go out until Monday.
Returns - If for any reason you are not satisfied with
your purchase, you may return it to us (unused, in good
condition and with all its original packaging) within 15
days of receipt and we will refund you the full amount of your
purchase less shipping and handling charges and any
non-refundable deposits. Remember that all hand-painted
items will have slight variations in terms of brush
strokes, colors and textures. These slight imperfections
are what give the piece its individual and unique
hand-crafted charm.
If your package is returned to Limoges.com due to an incorrect or incomplete shipping address, or because attempts for delivery were made and the recipient was not available to sign for package, there will be a $5.00 reshipping fee that will apply if you would like for the package to be reshipped. If you decide to cancel an order once the package has been shipped back to Limoges.com due to an incorrect or incomplete shipping address, the you will be recredited for the amount of the items only. Shipping and handling costs are nonrefundable.
Note: We have recently changed our return policy on special order items. These items are made to order by the artisans in Limoges. We inspect all special orders when they arrive, and will ship it only if the item is in perfect condition. Since this is the case there are no exchanges allowed on special orders. Returns are accepted but are subject to a 25% restocking fee. No returns will be accepted after 30 days. Cancellation of a special order is also subject to a 25% fee. Please consider these terms before placing a special order.
Sales Tax - There is no sales tax on any item we sell unless the item is being shipped in the State of New Jersey. If your order is being shipped to a location in New Jersey, a sales tax of 6% will be added to your order.
Damaged Items - If for any reason your merchandise arrives
damaged, we will be happy to offer you a refund or a
credit (at our discretion) provided you notify us within
five days of receipt of the shipment and return the broken
merchandise to us. Please call 1-800-850-4631 to arrange
for more information about our policies regarding damaged
pieces.
Availability - We update our website on a daily basis to keep
our stock up to date with what is currently available. Unfortunately, on
some high demand items, we can sell out on any given day. If for any reason
we do not have the item that you ordered in stock, when our site said it was
we will immediately contact you to let you know. It is rare, but unfortunately
it does happen.
Back Orders - If for any reason we do not have one of our regular
stock items on hand, we would be happy to backorder the item for you. Special
orders will be placed directly with the manufacturer in Limoges and can take anywhere from 4 - 12 weeks.
If you choose to backorder, you will not be charged for the piece until it
arrives in our offices in New York and is shipped out to you.
Corporate or Special Orders - Need a large quantity of a piece for a special event? Want to make your own Limoges box to give out as an extra special gift? Planning a corporate getaway amd want to thank your employees for their hard work? We would be happy to accomodate!
