In 2008, the national, weekly public radio program, The Infinite Mind, turns 10 years old.
The show is now public radio’s most honored and listened to health and science program, with over 30 major broadcast awards and more than one million listeners weekly.
Chances are you have listened to The Infinite Mind over the past decade, and heard something that helped you better understand yourself, your family or your world.
The Infinite Mind is independently produced and supported by the newly-formed Fund for Independent Media, a Massachusetts-based 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation, and is distributed by Lichtenstein Creative Media.
Our independence is perhaps our greatest asset. It means we can devote the time and resources necessary to cover stories thoughtfully and in-depth.
However, our independence comes at a price. As an independent producer, LCM receives no funding from NPR or the federally-funded Corporation for Public Broadcasting for the production of our programs.
And that’s why we need the help of supporters like you!
The Infinite Mind continues to stand alone in its independent coverage of these important issues, but your support for this non-profit production is critical.
Your tax-deductible contribution of just $10 or more will help insure that this critical, independent coverage of neuroscience, mental health, and the mind/body connection continues in 2008.
Thank you for your support!
